How do we know they're not complete though? I mean, if Jim can write something new like "What Part Of My Body Hurts The Most" whos to say those other songs could not be ready? For all we know they're probably all in a finished state. I mean, I have heard stories of Jim having an insanely productive period after "Vampires" bellyflopped on Broadway. Meat at MLUKFC years ago told me he received 15 demos from Jim. The point is, Jim obviously wrote some of those with Jim in mind. Yes, "Braver Than We Are" was "Dance Of The Vampires" and "Not Allowed To Love" was Batman (no one's sure about "God Has Left The Building" though; well, aside from Jim and maybe Justin *winks*) but, really, "Paradise Lost" and "The Monster Is Out Of The Cage", not to mention "No Lips, Hands Or Butts" and "The Powers Of Darkness" just reek of-HEEEEY THIS IS FOR BAT III, THE LAST ONE. I think it's just a matter of Rinkoff and Bova putting the tracks together and getting Meat to sing the vocals. Look at VERY BEST OF MEAT LOAF, those three songs could have taken years but they didn't. I think if they see the urgency of the market for BAT 3OTH they'll go for it. They'll try and make it happen. I just don't think Rob or Bonnie or anyone else is going to show justice to the songs that were clearly meant for BAT III. Now I'll be the first to say that Meat is not that important in the Steinman scheme of things, still, I hate to see something abandoned. Meat and Jim did that album 30 years ago and TMIL is how it ends up? It's just not right. They should at least finish it, as a special CD or something, then get on with their separate careers. And it should be now because no one's going to notice once the 30th anniversary is past.
