| I agree with you that Meat had a magical stage presence. As you say, like Bowie and Mercury. I would also compare him to Elvis, when Elvis played Vegas. Have you seen that film of the concerts? Bowie and Mercury were also great song writers, so perhaps Elvis is the better comparison. Although Elvis worked with many different song writers and Meat always needed Jim's unique Wagnerian style. But he was very charismatic. As you say, he had a magical stage presence. I think things started to go wrong when he cut his hair.
