| Mr. Haase has never been involved in the production of any XXX venture as a director or producer. Please show a single piece of pornography where Mr. Haase is credited by name or functioned as a director or producer. That's right, you can't. As a writer, particularly after a career which has been marked by literary work of the highest quality, Mr. Haase resents these attempts to slander him by purposely mis-characterizing an impeccable career by a single advertisement that was never answered. As a writer, Mr. Haase believes strongly in the first amendment--free speech, free thought--and will write whatever he pleases. Further, the proof of the slander is Mr. Akerman's posting an obscure ad which was never answered when examples of Mr. Haase's work abound on the Internet, including his best-selling cookbook, his AUDELCO-nominated production of Frederick Douglass, and his acclaimed production of Stephen Schwartz's Godspell in Harlem. The discussion of filmed erotica or pornography is moot in any case, as there is no more market for it when the Internet supplies erotic material in huge quantities for low monies. There is no more filmed erotic industry, and that hardly matters anyway since Mr. Haase has never been an active participant in the production of pornography or, for that matter, erotica. Mr. Haase admits that at a financially desperate moment he entertained the thought (the intention was always to do erotica, not porno, the distinct difference between which was shown in the earlier thread), but that is the only thing he is guilty of. The notion of an erotic production was perhaps one genre in a catalogue of twenty such areas. It has never been actualized, and further is not being actively solicited, nor will it be, as there is no market for this, and Mr. Haase has had an entirely respectable career in literary adaptation. Periodically, we investigate all side thoughts, ideas, etc., but Mr. Haase has never been actively involved in the direction or production of pornography and will sue anyone who calls him or implies him to be a pornographer, including you. He has led a spotless life and will sue anyone who says otherwise. I'd suggest you watch your mouth. | |
