Just watched the first live show tonight of ALW's hunt for a Eurovision performer.
Pretty bland selection and the only one who has half a chance of winning Eurovision is Jade (who didn't have to go through the audition process last week...hmmmm).
The male contestants performed 'No Matter What' and as previously stated, it was pretty bland.
The only interesting thing was ALW announced that Diane Warren will write the lyrics to a song ALW keeps saying he hasn't composed yet (but I doubt that very much).
Be interesting to hear what they come up with, but it's bound to be a power ballad?
I'm also unsure why Dian Warren has been chosen, as I thought the rules were that the composer/lyricist had to be from the the actual country (in this case the UK), although the performer can be any nationality.
