| Okay, it's obvious that Jim's always got a lot of potential projects going on, and when you've got THAT many irons in the fire, you're GONNA end up dropping a few on your foot and jumping around in pain screaming "OW! FUCK! MY FOOT!! THIS IRON SUCKS!!" and then going out and beating a bunch of elderly pedestrians to death with a crowbar, much like I did to this metaphor several words ago. But there's an obvious solution for this, and that's to create a backup Jim Steinman...a "Vice Steinman" if you will...which can take over duties for any project that the original Jim Steinman is unavailable for. And NO, MEAT, I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT DIANE WARREN. So I've built my very own four-inch-high Jim Steinman out of marshmallows, Q-Tips, and aluminum foil, and I must say it's coming along nicely. It hasn't composed any new songs yet, and when I left it alone near my computer earlier it made another "Total Eclipse Of The Heart" dance mix and remastered a Boyzone LP, so it clearly needs some tweaking (and I can't post samples of either, because the little Steven Rinkoff I made out of an onion and a stick won't let me.) But we're off to a promising start here. I'll post updates as they happen. -=ShoEboX=- | |
