| I reckon the "being asked to temporarily stop blogging" conspiracy is the biggest load of the bollox in this whole universe. I am disappointed not to hear new Steinman stuff pretty much at all since the Batman demos were released a few years ago (indeed those were amazing but it probably makes it even MORE frustrating for me not to have had a proper Bat 3 or a proper Steinman produced album from anyone or any thing. The musicals route (if he REALLY is pursuing that???!) is something I am less excited about (unless it was Batman or something new), the rehashing of original Bat songs is just something I don't care for anymore, it's time to move on in my opinion after 32 years. Who knows maybe someday Jim will surprise me once again like he did with the "Angels Arise" piece... In between all the endless garbage and arguments on this board (those involving multiple personalities it seems) I am glad I found one amazing piece of work from Scaramouche which has made the numerous visits to this board for me worthwhile... and it convinces me amazing music CAN still be written. So thank you Scaramouche! | |
