I suppose that covers also encourage people to buy albums. I can't say that I have purchased a Jim album because of the art work but I do love his album covers (my favourite is the bat pearched on top of the Chrysler Building). I also note that Jim is credited with having "the concept" for many of his covers (BOOH for example). I wonder if any fans have bought a Jim album primarily because of the album cover or, if this never happened, if you were going to pick a Jim album cover that might be able to sell you on the product, which one would it be? In other words, what is your favourite Jim album cover? My choice would be the cover of Bat 2.
