Whistle Down the Wind in Southampton

Just came back from seeing Whistle with Dave, Julie, Ali and not-quite-as-tall Will. I've got only a vague recollection of the first time I saw Whiste (London, 1999) -- but this version was excellent. I'm not sure if I'm on board with all the changes they've made (like moving Unsettled Scores to the second act, and that The Tribe song instead of Charlie & Annie Christmas) and the choreography was a bit weird at times (I'm not that into interpretative dance, and why the zark were there dancing zombie-vampires on stage during Wrestle with the Devil?!) but overall: two thumbs up. The girl playing Swallow was awesome, the performance and the sets were good... I've got no regrets whatsoever. Well, Southampton is dull as hell, but that's another thing.

As my laptop won't read my memory-card when it's not in my camera, you'll have to wait for the photos.
