| I think I said: "The director and the choreographer would be horrified if they knew that Rob blamed them for the Evening Standard ad." Not Elva or Frances. I thought it sounded funny. Forgive me if it wasn't. At the time of the ad I did say that Jim created the artwork for both the ad and the website. I'm not sure what you thought of just the artwork (I didn't really like the list on the right hand side of the ad). However, Jim did not pay for the ad and he did not organise the website. The thing that worries me is that 3,000 people signed up for the website and as far as I know, none of them recieved anything (perhaps I am wrong). That is not Jim's fault. It is the fault of investors who mistakenly thought they were able to be executive producers but who really didn't care if they promissed fans something and gave them nothing. Thankfully they are long gone, as is the small fortune of fifty thousand pounds that they paid out for the ad and the website. I'm sure that something will be done with the 3,0000 email addresses eventually but it won't be anytime soon and I feel bad about that. Of course the production team will be very interested in public relations but they have to wait until the time is right. The Caveman riddle has not been perplexing people connected to the show for months. It did when he first appeared but then he went a bit quiet (or Pudding deleted his posts) and recently he started again. They guessed who it was when he first started but nobody thought that an intelligent guy like Malcom would write such posts - making fun of Frances, for example, even if she did ask Jim to turn the music down. He is an intelligent person with a good job and he is friend of the production. It had to be him but nobody could believe it. After I asked you the question a few days ago, I received several emails all naming Malcom - the guy we suspected. Its still slightly unbelievable that someone in his position would behave like that. But that's life. BTW, Dave, if you're listening, I'm sorry to talk about your board here but in all fairness they spend a lot of time talking about Rockman over at BatMusical. Only the other day, Smeghead was going on and on about why I didn't know where "Bat" the song was in the show if I've read the script. The fact is that different versions of the script have it in different places and I am not allowed to say where. Mr Smeg should know that musicals are not like plays and the script can keep changing all the way up to opening night (as was the case with Phantom Of The Opera). Perhaps Mr Smeg thinks his own version of "Neverland" is so perfect that it doesn't require changes or different versions. I was trying to solicit the opinions of board members. Should it be at the end of Act One or Act Two (there is no Act 3)? If it has already been performed once, can it then be used as an encore? What would be a better encore, "Bat" or "Paradise"? I feel that feedback from board members might be very useful for the creative team. > Well, it's nice to get a reply, although the original > thread still seems perfectly serviceable to me, so not > sure why you felt you had to open a new one. > > I'm very glad to hear the musical now has a director and a > production designer assigned to it.
