| Well, it's nice to get a reply, although the original thread still seems perfectly serviceable to me, so not sure why you felt you had to open a new one. I'm very glad to hear the musical now has a director and a production designer assigned to it. The news that it has "creative problems and financial problems" is a little less welcome (although not unexpected). You say that the creative team "are not interested in public relations". That's fair enough, but surely someone connected with the production should be? It's all very well to say that the people behind the advert and the official website are no longer involved, but that doesn't mean everyone should just pretend they never happened. For all those who signed up to the website, this was their first and only impression of the show - total apathy. Do you think this makes them more or less likely to respond when the next wave of advertising comes about? The fact that no-one connected with the show seems to grasp this is very worrying. Your mother may well be "horrified" that I "blame" her for the Evening Standard ad (although I don't - it was Jim's creation according to what you posted at the time), but is it not within her remit to at least suggest that something is done with all the email addresses that were collected? As for Caveman - if there was "only one person who would have the exact but limited knowledge that Caveman has", why has this "riddle" been perplexing everyone connecting with the show for months? I know things have been moving slowly, but 9 months to suss out the identity of someone who could only have been one person? I shudder to think how long the casting will take. | |
