| Hang Cool Teddy Bear failed, Meat may not admit it now, but soon he will acknowledge that, whilst being a bold move to try something else, Hang Cool alienated much of his hardcore fans. He's said that there's a reasonably good chance it will be his last album, but can we honestly buy that, will he not be back in a few years time waiting for that big career ending triumph. I ask this because, despite the issues I have with him, I do feel sorry for him when he fails, which unfortunately his often. What else has he got left, guest spots on trash TV like House or a bit part in an Uwe Bowel movie. I think Meat Loaf could still have a successful career, if only lowered his expectations, his days of being an A list elite are, at least for the time being, over. | |
