| Several lyrics reflect something personal... Funny you should mention Objects... For me, the first verse is more personal than any of the others... when I was 11 a friend of mine was killed when she was hit by a truck... She was one of the few people that actually chose to hang out with me... so that hurt a lot! Also, for me, there is no greater truth than A kiss is a terrible thing to waste... The loneliest words you will ever know, If only, if only it were so The emptiest words that there'll ever be It could have been me, it could have been me.
