| I can't see Jim > using any music/lyrics from Tanz (or being allowed to). No one would have thought Jim would use the music from Bat 2 or Streets of Fire in Tanz... but he did... and as far as being allowed to... Jim really didn't have the legal right to use For Sarah's music in an American production of DOTV he just did it. According to Kunze he didn't have a legal right to do DOTV making the changes he did... he just did it. I've heard before from many people that Jim just does what he wants to and gets away with it because the people he takes from say "eh... that's just Jim" It's something about the force of his personality and the lack of menace when he does it that they just look the other way. Personally I don't think he should be forcing songs in that don't belong in the Neverland story (and yes he did say in his blog that Bat was Neverland... as if there was any doubt.) but Jim is not going to write anything new I don't think... so he's going to stick everything he can in here. I wouldn't be surprised if Wonderful Toys and WPOMBHTM end up wedged in. | |
