There's no way a "new" song with Meat does anything but help the musical in a business sense there's no downside. Not sure how close Meat and Cavullo would want it released relative to their CD, but the musical seems to be moving much more slowly than Meat's disc so there will probably be plenty of time in between. I think they already had a couple songs in mind they (Meat & Jim) never ended up recording. I bet Jim has some odds and ends lying around they could use. "Body" sung by Meat with Jim production would be the best bet to get attention but given their ages I don't expect a top 10 single out of it - but Meat could get it exposure on tv like Leno, SNL, etc. | |
