| My theory is that the "official story" of it being an earlier draft is entirely true, BUT Meat also tinkered with it. I'd say HE was the one that dropped the God Speed part (just like he did with BfG more recently) and the Storm chord structure. I'd say it got given to meat in a pretty similar arrangement tot eh SoF version but with different lyrics and verse structure, and then meat changed bits and voila! A little difference here + a little diffference there equals a very different song. Consider if Meat were to have recorded Braver Than We Are for TMiL. He would have been using a "draft", in so far as it has since been re-written and re-written a million times since Meat got a hold of it. And PIG too.
