Keep away from certain sites unless you've got a secure system, have 2 spyware finders running regularly, have an up to date virus scanner and a firewall and you won't have any troubles.
And before it gets started, there is NOT A SINGLE ONE secure OS. If Linux or MacOS would have the same or a similar marketshare Windows has, the spyware/virus/trojan programmers would attack those more often too.
