One of the world’s most successful recording artists and enthralling performers, Meat Loaf, is heading to Europe this April with his Last At Bat tour, a concert performed in two acts. In collaboration with the tour, Bat Out Of Hell will be re-released by Sony Music on April 1st.
This 'operatic' masterpiece, written by the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame inductee Jim Steinman and produced by Todd Rundgren, propelled Meat Loaf to global fame in 1977. Almost 40 years later, the seminal album is still the 3rd biggest selling album, having sold more than 45 million copies world-wide and continuing to sell around 200,000 copies each year. To this day, it still resides in the UK charts.
With a new Collector’s Edition 3D cover, the re-released 7-track epic album features hit songs and fan favorites such as Paradise By The Dashboard Light, Two Out Of Three Ain’t Bad and For Crying Out Loud, including a live version of Bat Out Of Hell and the classic duet with Cher, Dead Ringer For Love. The Collector’s Edition will also be packaged together with the ever popular and successful DVD entitled Hits Out Of Hell.
